We would like to invite you to participate with your teams at the 25th Open football tournament Medulin 2026, which will be held from 30.04. until 03.05.2026. in Medulin, Croatia.
In cooperation with GAT travel agency the Zagreb Football Association (ZNS) organizes the traditional football tournament for young players. The tournament was organized for the first time in the year 2000, while this year‘s tournament in May featured 160 teams from 60 clubs and 9 countries.
For the tournament 2026 we announce the participation of GNK Dinamo, HNK Hajduk, NK Lokomotiva, NK Osijek, NK Istra 1961, HNK Rijeka, HNK Gorica, HNK Šibenik and a large number of teams from other parts of Croatia. In addition, we expect the participation of clubs from Italy (AC Milan), Austria (FC Blau-Weiß Linz, Wolfsberger AC, SK Austria Klagenfurt), Slovenia (NK Maribor, NK Olimpija), Czech Republic (FC Slovan Liberec), Romania (CFR Cluj), Bulgaria (FC National Sofia), Serbia (FK Vojvodina), Hungary (MTK Budapest), Slovakia, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Montenegro and Poland. Considering the number and quality of participants, this tournament has become one of the most interesting in this part of Europe. The tournament is organized with the support of the Croatian Football Association.

Number of matches per team: each team will play a minimum of 7 matches in the tournament.
Medulin has 6 natural grass football pitches and 2 artificial grass football pitches, which are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotels/apartments (200-800m). In addition, the apartments and hotels in Medulin are connected to the football pitches during the tournament with a tourist train that we hire every year to facilitate and speed up the connection between the accommodation and the football pitches. The teams that are accommodated in Medulin therefore do not need any buses, as all the pitches are within walking distance. Resort Centinera in Banjole is 11km away from the football pitches in Medulin, and the Apartments Splendid in Pula are 12 km away. Daily bus transfers to the football pitches in Medulin are organized for tournament participants according to the tournament schedule.

Accomodations available during the tournament in 2026
Trainers are accommodated in double rooms and the boys in three- and four-bedded rooms as well as apartments for three, four or five persons. Since we have limited capacity in all accommodations, we would ask you to inform us in time of the planned number of persons and selected accommodation so that we can reserve the desired hotel or apartments for your team. The first meal on the day of arrival is dinner and the last meal is lunch on the day of departure.

The hotel Holiday has two outdoor swimming pools – as well as an outdoor terrace and pool bar – providing the perfect place to spend the day at the hotel. The 192 guest rooms situated over four floors are modern and well equipped with air conditioning, SAT-TV, a telephone, hairdryer and showers over the bath. Many of the rooms afford glorious sea views too, over the islands and the peninsulas. Free Wi Fi is available in all public areas.
The surrounding rocky coast is on a gentle incline to the sea and many of the apartments at the Splendid Golden Rocks Istria afford spectacular views over the Adriatic Sea, as well as over Pula‘s charming seafront promenade -Lungomare. The Splendid resort attracts families in particular, because of its child-friendliy policies and perfect seaside location. Guests have at their disposal two outdoor swimming pools, one of which is a children‘s pool. Beautiful beach with an easy approach to the sea and a natural pebbly cove only few steps away. The apartments Splendid (up to 7 persons) are equipped with one or two double rooms, living room with sofa bed for 2 persons, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, SAT-TV, safe deposit box and a furnished balcony.
In the small beautiful village of Banjole, located next to the beach and surrounded by an old pine forest, lies the Resort Centinera. It consists of 4 pavillions with total 151 rooms, restaurant with 400 seats, beach facility with terrace, sport center Banjole with 4 tennis courts, 2 football pitches and beachvolley. The resort offers accommodation in 4 buildings. All of the rooms are comfortable and have a sea view. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are in buffet form and the drinks are included during the lunch and dinner (juice, natural and mineral water).

The cancellation charges shown below apply from the date we receive your cancellation instruction at our office. In order to cover our expected losses from the cancellation there’s a set scale of charges which must be paid by you if you or anyone travelling with you cancels or you cancel any services or arrangements that form part of your booking with us. The charges are a percentage of the costs of the arrangements being cancelled:
• Up to 60 days prior to the departure, 10% of the package price,
• 59 to 30 days prior to the departure, 25% of the package price,
• 29 to 15 days prior to the departure, 50% of the package price,
• 14 to 10 days prior to the departure, 75% of the package price,
• 09 to 04 days prior to the departure, 80% of the package price,
• 03 to 00 days prior to the departure, 100% of the package price.
• 10 or more days before arrival – individual cancellations up to 10% of the sum of all booked persons,
• 09 – 04 days before arrival – individual cancellations up to 5% of the sum of all booked persons.
For further individual cancellations compensation will be applied as in case of cancellation of the whole group. The exchange of group members (name changes) is possible at any time and is not considered a single cancellation.
