Overview
Welcome to Istria and welcome to the Adriatic Sea, Central Europe’s closest Mediterranean destination. On our heart-shaped peninsula it is always a bit milder than “further up” during the four seasons. A lush green spring is followed by a pleasant summer, autumn is colorful, winter is mild – so there are ideal conditions for travel all year round. The cobweb-like network of roads, paths and trails in Istria’s often untouched nature offers many surprises and challenges for cyclists.
Choose one of our most sought-after destinations and either let us put together your training week or simply design it yourself according to your own wishes and ideas. If you would like to organize your training camp yourself, we will also provide you with our licensed bike guides and our rental bikes; whether MTB or racing bike, gladly at your disposal.
Here is an example week of MTB training camp in case you want to book a hotel in Medulin:
Route length 50 km, medium difficulty route, asphalt road 80% – gravel road 20%. In addition to this route it is possible to visit wine cellars, olive oil tasting and a cheese factory.
Route length 53 km, easy route, asphalt road 90% – gravel road 10%. On this route you can visit wine cellars, an oil mill and olive oil tasting.
Route length 40 km, easy route, asphalt road 90% – gravel road 10%. Along this route it is possible to visit fine restaurants and olive oil tastings.
Route length 42 km, medium difficulty route, asphalt road 85% – gravel road 15%. On this route it is possible to visit the old ruined city of Dvigrad.
Route length 35 km, easy route, asphalt road 90% – gravel road 10%. On this route you can visit historical monuments and sights of the city of Pula.
Route length 44 km, easy route, asphalt road 60% – gravel road 40%. Along the route it is possible to visit an oil mill and olive oil tasting, as well as the landscape of the Kamenjak nature reserve.
Route length 50 km, medium difficulty route, asphalt road 10% – gravel road 90%. On this route it is possible to organize olive oil and truffle tastings
The routes do not have to start from the hotel, our team can drive you to the desired starting point and pick you up there again. As long as our team accompanies you, any route and any time can be shortened and you will simply be taken back to the hotel by minivan.
